Requests to change teams or to be on a specific team

One of the philosophies of AYSO is "Fair and Balanced Teams" to meet this goal all teams are randomly assigned by the computer.

Team changes also cause issues with other players as we have to swap players, and as you can imagine a player who has already
met their coach and team would be upset at being swapped for someone else's convenience.

Because of this we will not accept requests to be on a specific team for any reason - 
(examples)
1- to be with a specific coach
2- to be with a friend/neighbor/family member
3- because you had the coach before
4- because the practice day, time or location are inconvenient.

We will also not move players up or down to another division for the convenience of the parent, or to have siblings on the same team etc.

One way to make sure practice dates or times work for you is to volunteer. Coaches can choose their own date and time of practice.
We will pair a coach and assistant coach with his/her child

Siblings in the same division registered on the same account will be placed on the same team.
Sometimes there are errors, if siblings in the same division end up on separate teams please let us know.

It is also against our policy to list players on your account who are not in your immediate household for the purpose of obtaining
a discount or making sure that the players end up on the same team. Violations of this policy may end up in additional fees,
players being dropped, or coaches being suspended.
