8U - Birth year 2012/2011
Field Size: 25 yards by 40 yards
Ball Size: 3
Roster Maximum: 9
Players on field: 7
Game length: Four 10 minute quarters
Practice Sessions: Maximum 1.5 hour sessions - 2 per week

Rule Modifications:
-Goalkeepers
-Corner kicks
-Goal kicks
-No slide tackling
-Free kicks
-No heading the ball - penalty will be a throw in for the opposing team
-In the event that one team is short of the normal number of players, the opposing team is required to reduce the number of players on the field. This is mandatory unless the coaches agree otherwise

Coaching Modifications
Coaches may enter the field of play to coach in a positive manner

Referee Modifications
No carding players allowed. (Recommendation: each coach referee one half of game)

Practice Modification:
Practice at this age should be twice a week from 1 to 1.5 hours.
